Exactly 7 months after the horrendous and devastating earthquake hit Haiti on 12th January 2010, I headed down to the country to volunteer with a small, but growing, organisation called Hands On Disaster Response, now re named All Hands Volunteers.
They were and still are based in the city of Léogâne, a small city very close to the epicenter that suffered terribly during and after the event.

These photos are a small snapshot of my time there.
The story of the town, the people, the work, the recovery, the difference and the hope a few hundred or so, long and short term volunteers from around the world can bring when they go into a community to work tirelessly with the people to create sustainable change.
